LPA is looking for a Contracts Specialist with three years of experience to join the team in Irvine.
Key Goals and Objectives of this role:
LPA Contracts Coordinators process agreements with LPA’s clients and its consultants. Processing includes incorporating key contract details into LPA’s contracts management system; assisting in the development of contract documents; providing guidance on firm’s contracting processes, coordinating and collaborating with LPA’s principals, project managers, accounting and others to ensure that contracts are executed, tracked and maintained in accordance with contracting best practices .
Broad knowledge and experience in the construction industry, particularly architecture and engineering.
Above average skills in (can include software): Word, Outlook, Excel, contract management software, PowerPoint.
Excellent skills in: Word and contract management software, Vision preferred.
Demonstrated ability to: Communicate effectively in speaking and in writing; work quickly and accurately; ability to interface with high-level internal staff, as well as with client and consultant contracts and procurement staff.
General knowledge of the design and construction process from a contractual perspective.
Education and Experience:
Degree Requirements: None, but Bachelors preferred
3 years of professional experience preferred
Contracts Management-related certifications are not required but are a plus.
