Understand budgets and correlation to design and level of documentation required, promote integrated design process with architecture/ engineering, Inspire quality construction documents, experience with specific project types such as assembly spaces, labs, theaters, sound rooms, etc. relating to corporate projects, creating Scope of Service/ Fees/ Contracts/ Invoicing/ Schedules.
Above average skills in Microsoft portfolio including Word, Excel, Schedule and PowerPoint. AutoCAD and Revit are a plus.
Proactive communication, accountability, quality control, people skills, public speaking and deep knowledge of the commercial interiors industry.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize information and tasks to meet all project deadlines, understands what to communicate to the team, when and why, Understand Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering basic design principles and systems.
General knowledge of: Project Management Skills in elevating the performance of project team including architects/ engineers. CBC/ ADA/ Fire Codes/ Site ADA/ Parking
Education and Experience:
Degree Requirements: 4 year Bachelor's degree in Commercial Interior Design or an Architectural Degree
10 years of experience in the role of an Interiors Project Manager in a similar capacity
Desired Certifications: C.I.D. and LEED AP, NCIDQ is a plus
