Chris Tindall is a licensed mechanical engineer with a specialization in designing high-performance HVAC systems and energy-efficient commercial buildings. He provides technical leadership for integrating appropriate, cost-effective and high-performance mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology and energy systems into LPA's projects.
With a background in architectural engineering and a broad knowledge of building systems, Tindall believes in applying passive strategies, load reduction, proven technologies and sound engineering principles to optimize system performance while minimizing the capital, energy and maintenance costs.
Tindall has extensive experience in the design of technical systems in the science, technology, aerospace, life science, medical device and manufacturing industries. He also has specific knowledge in the design of clean rooms, process piping, high-purity water systems, laboratory gasses, laboratory exhaust systems, acid waste neutralization, high-pressure gasses and solvent distribution and waste systems. He has significant involvement in several completed LEED and green building projects.
