Nick joined LPA in 2001 after interning with the firm as a student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In 2020, he led the creation of the Commercial practice, working closely with the Workplace, Healthcare and Mixed Use practices. Throughout his career, Nick has worked on a wide-range of differentiated office projects including high-rise office towers, low-rise office campuses and repositioning of existing buildings. Career highlights include 650 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach, CA, the first high-rise office project in the area, which was developed in partnership with Pei Cobb Freed; the complex One La Jolla Center, San Diego, CA; and the renovation of the world-famous Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego with Selldorf Architects.

On every project, Nick fosters a collaborative culture between the design team, contractor and client. He works closely with commercial and workplace practice leaders to ensure the integrated design solutions are tailored to the goals of each project. His proven execution abilities help deliver high quality projects under constantly evolving constraints, while addressing the current and future needs of companies and communities.
