Rick Musto has more than 30 years of professional experience in architecture and obtained his California architectural license in 1988. For the past 14 years at LPA, Musto has been dedicated to the Education Group. As a Managing Director, Musto focuses on all aspects of school design, from long range facilities master planning through construction administration support services. Working collaboratively with the many talented individuals across all disciplines at LPA, his role is to conduct project teams to deliver the very best integrated sustainable design projects possible.

Of the hundreds of education projects Musto has contributed to, he managed over $200 million in design and construction for the Arcadia Unified School District, in Arcadia, California. This relationship began with the development of a long range facilities master plan and continued for more than 10 years during a phased project delivery across 10 school sites.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, San Diego Chapter and is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a LEED Accredited Professional.
