The Fashion Island project is a two-tower, 276,000-square-foot office complex strategically located on the mid-peninsula of the Silicon Valley. The owners at Harvest properties partnered with LPA’s team of in-house architects, landscape architects, interior designers, lighting designers and engineers to update the mid-1980s facilities to reflect its culture of innovation and increase in technology-focused tenancy.

Enhancements were made to an entry drive, outdoor plaza, common lobby, elevator lobby, five-floor, multi-tenant elevator lobbies, corridors, restrooms and elevator cabs. The entry spaces and lobbies are designed with simple clean lines, taking a traditionally transitional space and providing opportunities to pause and connect with other people. The exterior courtyard serves as a bridge between the two towers, with social spaces and outdoor meeting rooms, giving users a chance to connect, socialize and take advantage of the mild climate. Destination branding provides the campus a new face to an established community of commercial office buildings.
