Housed within San Bernardino County's Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center, the 30,000-square-foot Public Safety Operations Center (PSOC) includes Sheriff and Fire 911 Call Intake and Dispatch Centers, Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and related support amenities designed to essential facilities standards. Work for the multi-phased implementation was performed in a phased sequence to minimize disruption to existing operations.

The PSOC has 65,000 lineal feet of data cable, an uninterrupted power supply and waterless fire suppression. The 911 Call Intake and Dispatch Consoles are customized with redundant power supplies, multiple data feeds, multiple displays, backup communications, video relay and Doomsday Radio. The EOC features both 199-inch and 60-inch displays, ENO Board, tablet and desktop fee interface, an aviation feed interface and ballistic enhancement protection. The 175-foot communications tower carriers microwave, radio, doomsday and Helinet radio antennas and has three 40-foot-deep footings, which are able to withstand 120-mph wind forces.
