LPA designed a flexible, efficient and cost-effective tenant improvement for the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit environmental organization. This 7,000-square-foot office facility incorporates 10 private offices, open office areas, a conference room, break room, shower and surfboard storage rack area. The interior spaces have been designed to give ultimate flexibility. The sustainable features include energy-efficient lighting, reuse of building materials and furniture, use of recycled materials, water-efficient fixtures, task lighting and natural ventilation. This project received a LEED-CI Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
