Since joining the firm in 1995, Arash Izadi has committed his career to the development of sport and recreation facilities. His passion for innovative design has allowed him to lead clients, students and athletes through the planning and design process of creating sustainable and award-winning facilities, while his technical expertise has gained him recognition as an industry leader.

As an Associate and as the Director of Sport and Recreation for the firm, Izadi brings more than 25 years of professional experience to LPA. His mark can be seen on projects for professional, collegiate, K-12 and civic clients. These include award winning facilities such as the El Camino College Tri-Sport Complex, California State University Northridge Recreation Center, Paramount High School Stadium and Baseball Complex, Marlborough School Aquatic and Training facility, Brea Sports Park and Placer Valley Sports Complex. He also served as a technical representative for the City of Santa Clara related to Super Bowl 50 Operations. These accomplishments have landed him coverage in Water Efficiency Journal, Los Angeles Wave, Orange County Register, Yahoo! News and guest speaking engagements at the Coalition for Adequate School Housing and California Independent Schools Conference.

Izadi earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona and is a licensed landscape architect in California. He is an active member of National Intermural-Recreation Sports Association, where LPA has won multiple awards, Athletic Business Conference, the Sports Turf Managers Association and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
