With more than 30 years of professional experience in the field, Young Min plays a key role in shaping and the direction of LPA’s higher education design.
Min has been with LPA since 1989 and worked on key educational buildings for the community college and California State University systems, as well as developer and retail projects in his tenure at LPA. Notable building types include libraries, humanities buildings, science buildings, multidisciplinary buildings, student unions and athletic facilities. Min is also an advocate for sustainable integrated design approach, where all engineering, architectural and landscape disciplines work closely together to arrive at appropriate design response for our clients.
Min is a graduate of the College of Environmental Design at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is the recipient of national and regional design awards for his work with LPA.
He is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and is a licensed architect in California.
