LPA led a comprehensive, consensus-based master planning process for the Westminster School District, identifying “high performance, 21st century learning environments” as one of the guiding principles for the future of the district. Using site needs assessments, financial and demographic projections and a facilitated process of identifying key long-term educational programming goals, the plan resulted in a consensus-based, 20-year vision for district facilities and prioritization of district goals into a concise plan for implementation. The project includes a new STEM science, technology, graphics and makerspace lab building; a new gym and music studios complex; quad and lunch shelter; and transformation of the old MPR’s into a library, student research and resource center.
